Absolutely stunning, operfantomet!

Definitely give my humble praise to your grandmere.   My own tried to teach me to embroider but i was hopeless at it.

Operafantomet, that is stunning!  You and your granny do amazing work!

Me wearing my new Elizabethan gown at our Minnesota Renaissance Festival Friends 2015 Spring Feast.

With my friend, Dr. Deb Suppes in her newly made Tudor gown from the Andrea Shewe Simplicity pattern. Deb did an awesome job and pictures does not do her gown justice.

Lady Kathleen.  Your work is always so beautiful.  I marvel at the time and patience you put in to all the hand sewing.

Lady Kathleen of Olmsted

Thank you for the compliment, Irma.

I do need to make a minor alteration to the sleeve length before I wear this gown again in Mid May to the Janesville Renaissance Festival. They were a tad long. I will alter them at the wrist.

Just got my new partlet blouse from Lady K.   Delicious!
Seriously loving the embroidery...and that lace! I don't have pictures yet, but it is similar to the gold on gold shirt she recently made for another client.
Can't wait to wear it this season!

Close up of my new robe a la anglaise.  I'm wearing it to an 18th Century party tomorrow night.  All of the fabric and notions were stash - it's what I made of for the stashbusting historical sew monthly.

Isabella, so pretty!

...I made hip pads based on the MFA set. :D (I'm upgrading my 18th c. kit. <--typed "updating" at first, which makes no sense in the context of historical costuming! LOL)

We should do a stash challenge here on the boards! My project was just wee, due to time constraints (and con sewing), but I've been plowing through my stash lately. It's fun to glare at it and force it to think of things to become.  ;D

Dinobabe

Oh Gem!!!  Yes, yes on a stash challenge.  I'm actually doing that right now.  I am making a bodice to go with a favorite skirt.  I'm not allowed to use anything that is not in stash; fabric, lining, or trim.  I'm so excited!

What can I say but......WOW!

Much appreciated!  :) Another sneak peek. Tried to take proper photos today, but the light wasn't good and I dressed hastily by myself (=looked a mess) and the only semi decent one was this selfie closeup:

But the camicia is a good combo with the blue "Peacock" dress in Florentine style. Looking forward to trying it out with the black velvet dress in Roman style!

Oh my gosh this is absolutely stunning.
