Surprise! I am actually still here.  The last year and a half had been pretty brutal in my personal life... I went through a divorce and it turned my world upside down, so I pulled back from a lot of things. But I never left, promise.

So many many hugs! You should come to Texas sometime! We'd be glad to have you!!

I haven't been interacting online much anywhere, lately... partly because of the pain in my backside... but mostly because it's summer, and Miss Scally and I are spending a lot of time together, doing this and that.  Watching a lot of movies, working on rebuilding our computers (one at a time, and slowly, in between everything else), trying to get in the pool at the Y as much as possible... and trying not to re-injure myself.  Oh, and getting ready for my grandpa's 102nd b-day party next weekend!  The actual day is the 28th, but everyone will be in town on the weekend, so that's when there will be cake.  He's a big fan of cake... 

I do notice that a lot of folks have stopped posting here, though, and I'm sad about that.  There are a lot of groups on facebook, and at least a couple dealing specifically with TRF... but here we have people from all over the country, and in come cases even farther (like in the sewing/garbing threads), and that doesn't really happen with groups that are centered on specific Faires.  I really like the interaction with people from all over the place... and I wish people would post more, again. 


Oh, and I saw that, Fraser... am I really still that far in front of everyone else?  I figured you or Merlin, one, would have overtaken me by now!  I guess I'll have to go take a look at the stats again.  It's been a while since I took any notice, since I haven't been posting much for quite a while.  I guess once you build up a lead it can carry you for a bit...  LOL  But with as much as you two gab I can't even imagine that it has lasted this long!

Good to see you pop in, DB.  Sorry to hear of your divorce, but I hope many good things come your way to ease the pain.

Speaking of pain, prayers and best wishes for relief and recovery, my dear Rani.   

As for Facebook ... I have an account, but have always found the R/F forums friendlier and easier to navigate.  With topics arranged chronologically, and with titles, it is easy to see the latest activity.  I also think the search function here is far more efficient than the one on FB.
