Speaking of pain, prayers and best wishes for relief and recovery, my dear Rani.   

As for Facebook ... I have an account, but have always found the R/F forums friendlier and easier to navigate.  With topics arranged chronologically, and with titles, it is easy to see the latest activity.  I also think the search function here is far more efficient than the one on FB.

Thank you so much, Sir Martin.  You are always so very sweet and thoughtful!  I agree with you about Facebook vs. the Forums here... this place has always been so much more friendly... and relaxed, as well.  That other place just seems so frenzied and rushed all the time, and so scattered all over the place.  Even groups that are created for a specific purpose are full of random content, and it always feels like... I need to hurry before it changes again.  Here I can relax and chat with friends, and find the same topics in the same places, or create new ones if I like... and they will be just where I left them.  It's a much more user-friendly format, most definitely... and it's much more intimate not feeling the weight of a few billion other users taking up the same bandwidth. 


Goodness... Faire is getting close for y'all, now, and we're both wishing we were going to be there with you, of course... and being infected by the excitement leading up to it all, as well!  We have a Halloween event to attend, so at least we'll get to have some costuming fun... but we'll still be thinking of all of you!  What new garb is everyone planning this season?

I have a dancer outfit I have been working on for awhile now, black & silver ghawazee coat, silver & green crop top & long skirt.  The outfit itself is done but there is no trim yet.  We have a halloween wedding to attend and I would love to be able to premeire it then but I have to wait on money.  Probably gonna be $50-75 for all the trim.  Just don't have that to spare right now.  Summers are slow for our business and everything, including my little bits of cash from sewing, is going to bills.

Trill, are you working the coupons?  You know that JoAnn's, Hancock Fabrics and Michaels will all take competitors coupons, right?  So wait until JoAnn's has one of their "60% off one regular price item" coupons, then try to see if you can get it to coincide with one of the Michaels "20-25% off total purchase" coupons... and you've got a really NICE discount!
