Along with the rain, that was a pretty big blast o' wind we got yesterday.  A small airfield northwest of Beaumont had over 60 mph winds and it picked up several planes.  I believe it damaged or destroyed eight small single-engine planes (private and crop dusters).    Always one extreme or another around here.

Heard about the removal of the Mud pit for new shops, but didn't hear about its new location. Glad it's not gone entirely.
Missed the ticket sale again yesterday. Been suffering a threatening cold. It hasn't completely gotten me yet but it has had my energy zapped.  Hope its on its way out.

Looks like Clan P. will be minimal this year. Many are disenchanted with the price hikes. We are still undecided whether we'll camp opening weekend, but sounds like we will be camping closing weekend.  If nothing else, my family will be day tripping opening weekend.
