Ooooh, just over three weeks till opening.  I am getting hyped for it.  I'm mostly prepared.  Got my new belt (drat the expanding waistline), camping gear ready, tickets acquired.  All I have to do is get the emergency rations just in case my clan doesn't have communal meals.  Pork & Beans and Spam should do.

We need to arrange the meet & greet.  Haven't had a good one since the procession moved from passing the Prince of Wales.  Else I have just missed them.

@KeeperoftheBar No, you're correct. The M&G has been scarce since the new route was established. It was supposed to occur in front of the coffee house, but the times that I've made it there, I couldn't spot any familiar faces.  We need to hype the M&G and get our group amassed as in times past.

I can attest that most groups meet up at the Sea Devil. But since there are less than a dozen of us that post regularly, we have to find a way to spread the word. On FB, there is a group called "Texas Renaissance Festival Friends" that is highly active. I will gladly post there to share info.

As we get closer, there will be more people posting on here.  I don't ever make the m&g.  Too busy hearding ferrets...   We are lucky if we manage to catch the parade.  I avoid the Sea Devil whenever possible, there are too many people, too much stupidity later in the day & we always have our son with us.

Yes, we are interested more in RF users M&G. The Sea Devil is not the greatest of places to meet if you have any desire to hold a conversation at normal voice levels.
