We went out yesterday to celebrate our anniversary and had a fabulous time!  It was rather warm so we went in light garb, no wings for me, no mask or hammer for the hubby.  The crowds were huge.  We got there a little late and by the end of the day we were thankful that we paid for the preferred parking and could get a cart ride directly to our bumper!  Our son decided on a drinking horn as his means of carrying liquid refreshments.  I've gotta give a shout out to the Horn Shoppe.  My hubby has a large horn from them that he has had for at least 15 years and it is cracking on the top and the coating is starting to peal.  We talked to the owner and without batting an eye, she said they will repair it and mail it back to us for no charge.  Their products are guaranteed for life, under reasonable use of course.  Also, if our son wants to upgrade his to a larger horn later, he can trade it in and get credit towards a new one.  We are 2 generations of very happy customers!  We left a little after 3 completely exhausted, but very happy.  We desperately needed the mental break and plan to come back next month, hopefully camping!

Yeahhhh, I feel your pain!  Business needs to pick up if we are going to be able to do a camping trip.  The joys of owning your own business, no work, no pay.  And Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest days...normally.  Lately there hasn't been any really busy days.

I've been dreaming of faire the last two weekends as we work outside on the house. *knocking on wood* Looks like it will be sweet for this weekend.

Work??  What's that!?!?   My focus today has been on work for about an hour, I can't seen to focus on anything but faire.

All the Fuzzlet can talk about is when are we going to faire?  When do we go camping?  Are our special friends going to be there?  Each weekend we have had to put all her garb back in it's tub because she keeps wanting to play she is at faire.  I have my time line already written, as in I have by the day and hour what I need to do to get ready for the faire.  If not I'd be worrying myself sick, literally.
