Let me clarify that...Lady Jess was the first person I contacted...

I didn't feel too comfortable with PR, although I met many, after the chaos of the last season.  McShuggenah was what I was looking for in a Clan and they were gracious enough to except this wayward soul, my brother and a small troop of outcasts...

I never met a more accepting group of people.  In them I found the embodiment of what I thought fairemily was...giving...helpful...willing to give up their last bit of food to a stranger who has nothing.  No one goes hungry...no one lacks for drink...and we'll wade through H e l l and high water to make sure you get to faire on AHE.

My fairemily...funny, I may only see some of these people one weekend a year, but when we meet, we can pick up on conversations we had the year before like it was yesterday.    This is why I do what I do...my little part in maintaining The Dream of what faire should be.  I've met some of the greatest people, from very diverse backgrounds, that I've ever had the honor of meeting and call many of them friend or brother/sister...neither are titles i use lightly.
