In the past, this forum software only allowed displaying profile photos, by linking to other image hosting web sites.
Now, it allows uploading a profile photo directly from your PC.
So, I've updated my profile photo, with one that was taken by Don English at Sherwood Forest Faire (near Austin, TX) on 09-FEB-13.

And David, it looks great. So my image is hosted on my own site. Is it being blocked as well? For me it looks normal, but most all others have a photo blur over them with the photobucket logo.

So a little (and I do mean little) bit of research has turned up that Photobucket has instituted a "Pay to Play" feature for displaying images on 3rd party sites. If you are using a free photobucket account, your images will be blurred with a Photobucket watermark indicating that 3rd party site hosting is not available to you. In order to view your photos on sites other than Photobucket, you have to pony up the $4.99/mo for the beginner package.

So, Photobucket users may want to look for alternative free hosting so that their images are fully visible.

Edit: Looks like you do get so much bandwidth free per month. But it's a really small amount and just a few loads of this site will use it up. So, at the beginning of each month the pics will be fine, but shortly there after they will have the watermark.
