Our local faire is TRF. It also used to have nice open grassy areas where folks could chill out in the shade. They have since been taken over by vendor booths. And it seems every time we visit, the prices on food and drink have increased significantly.

The faire is now under new ownership so I'm hopeful that the new owners will be less greedy and more about the magic and imagination. Time will tell.

I do hope so for your sake. At NYRF, being close to the five boroughs AND social media!! they will always draw the crowds, who seem increasingly younger and many first timers who do not even know that was once there..the hidden spots..the pub in the woods, the open lanes, the interactive actors, the many musical bands...all gone.

It doesn't have the little "this is not secure" warning. That shows up periodically. I wonder if there's a connection?

I suspect so. The certs may have been renewed for the https. I am hopeful that that means we may see our proprietor again soon.

Looks like the site is back to crawling again. The snappyness was nice while it lasted.
