No wonder the snake won. It is "survival of the fittest"!

Excellent insight from Amras and Peddlin.

Not quite sure how they'd file a lawsuit.  You're outdoors...in a fairly wooded plot of land.  Thar be critters out thar.  AND they picked the snake up of their own accord - it wasn't part of some stage show.

But perhaps that's just me being niave in my own little world where common sense is the law of the land.

I wonder how long it'll take for a lawsuit to be filed. Dumb@$$es.  ::)

Amras, you're my hero!  ;D

Wow! You mean we can sue people for being stupid?? Cool!

No doubt these type of people are the reason we have instructions on shampoo...

OH...Wet hair FIRST....THEN lather and rinse....

I feel so bad for MDRF faire management this year!  They've had awful luck.  The guy w/ the heart attack dying, the kid w/ the stake in the eye (how the hell a 10 year old sticks a stake in his eye is beyond me... it's supposed to have food on it, I could see him sticking his tongue first!, and now a snake bite.  I mean, 3rd time's a charm, so hopefully this will be all the bad news they'll have this year...
I don't know what you've heard, none of it is factual, but it's all true.

I had a business law class in college back in the 80s and my favorite product liability law suit was the guy who sued the lawn mower manufacture because he cut off his fingers when he tried to lift the mower up to trim his hedges.  I tend to think that there is a correlation between stupid and liability suits. (not that they are all frivolous but a lot sure are)

Oh...we could go on and on...

Remove child from stroller before folding

Do not use hair blower in shower

I forgot the product but if you turned it upside down...the warning label said "Do not turn upside down"

Our Home Faire...outdoors...with the disclaimer "This Faire is in a natural setting....please be mindful of roots and rocks"

The ultimate disclaimer on a Tractor: Avoid Death

Maybe we shouldn't have disclaimers and let Nature weed out that weak Gene pool that is screaming for chlorine. I'd like to peg all these "Rocket Scientists" with a disclaimer of their own "Caution: Stupid person...could be hazardous to your health"

Unfortunately, natural selection does not act upon the human species as readily as it does in the rest of the animal kingdom... so stupid people can continue to breed and produce more stupid people.  There is some truth in that line from the Harvey Danger song "I've been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding."

Capt. Morgan

Stupid people can't figure out shampoo, or that coffee is hot...but they still know how to breed...go figure... :-\

and that's the scariest part indeed, they breed, repeatedly, like cockroaches, they breed!   ::) :o

The book drop at the local library has a sign on it-"warning,  remove hand before closing door."   ???
You mean I'm s'posed to take my hand out first? Crap I've been doing it wrong!
Would someone that stupid actually read a book?

dinkywench

Gee I can't imagine a snake being harmful, I always thought they were warm fuzzy creatures.

I have a simple solution to the stupidity, don't let any tourist in the faire so everyday will be like a rain day!!!

I have a can of "Billy Beer" that Billy Carter pumped out when his brother Jimmy was in the White House.  Printed on the bottom of the can are the words "open other end."
