Good morrow DB,

Yes the avatar/profile photo is working.  What I can't get to work is posting a photo within the message.  I see many post photos of the day, or their Felines etc (as examples) but I get the hyperlink instead (SIGH).

Thanks for any help you may provide.

You need to add the image tag around the photo's hyperlink.  It should look like this minus the * in the tags.

It appears that you are accidentally clicking on the third button instead of the second button. 
If you are certain that your cursor arrow is located over the second button when you click on it, then you may have a video problem on your pc which causes the cursor to be a little bit off target. 
Any non standard cursors could cause this effect.

This is what you should see when trying to post an image.


If that still does not work, then as a work around I recommend that you copy the IMG text string directly from your photobucket album and paste it here without using the buttons in the reply window. The IMG string should be the fourth box below each of your pictures on photobucket like this.

The profile/avatar pic are set up different than the rest of the forum.

profile pics need a link like this http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b275/renfairepic/events/cross-icon.jpg

while the rest of the forum needs [img] links

OK I went to the DrPic.com sight and resized my photo.  I then saved it to their web page and coppied and pasted the address into the avatar spot on my profile.  I don't have any on line photo accounts, I was hoping this would work, but does not seem to have been effective as I can't see my photo.  Any suggestions?
