Photos/Avatars for profiles

OK I went to the DrPic.com sight and resized my photo.  I then saved it to their web page and coppied and pasted the address into the avatar spot on my profile.  I don't have any on line photo accounts, I was hoping this would work, but does not seem to have been effective as I can't see my photo.  Any suggestions?

Piece of cake.  I fixed this for you.  You had the entire webpage listed for the image URL, rather than just the image URL itself.

I have chosen a blank white box with a much smaller box in the upper left hand corner and topped it all off with a red X inside the much smaller box as my Avitar. How did I do? I think it's quite becomming actually. The link you're wanting to use is for a page and not an image specifically.  There is actually a "links to the photo" spot on that page that has the image URL rather than the page URL.

  Thank you very much. I feel much better now with my avatar giving me the evil eye. Altough I will miss my old avatar, I now know how to get it back if my longing for the little red X ever becomes to much for me to bare. Thank you again.

For the profile you will need a direct link to where you photo is hosted on the web.
