I love the colors together and it just looks so elaborate, especially for a little girls dress!  Bravo!

Shows how the wings are attached.  Yes, the D-ring is for a leash, if necessary.  Don't want to risk losing her in a crowd and she won't want to stay in the stroller all day.  This kid likes to move!

The D-ring would be perfect for it, but what I do, is get a large helium balloon before going, and hook it to the back of my daughter's garb. have it float just about eye level, so it peaks over peoples' heads. Instant tracking device, and she can run around more than her leash allows. I have considered one of those retractable leashes, cause it seems unfair that kid leashes (at least the ones marketed as such) are shorter than any dog leash I've seen. Keep 'em, close, but come on.. at least give them more than a step or two..
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.

MDRF has a Day of Wrong and I went this year as a FOP.  This costume as a joint effort between my  wife and I.  I made the hat, all the piccadils, waist band, leg bands and all the panes for slops and she did the rest.  I still have a lot more to do to  it but as usual, we just flat ran out of time.  Enjoy.

Sorry I didn't recognize you.  I had so many pictures taken yesterday it was crazy!  We'll have to hook up next year or you can come down to VARF in May.

:D That is quit alright Master James, I wouldn't expect you to know me. I have only been on the forums for about a year and my first year going to faire in garb. It would be lovely to meet with you and others next year.  ;)

I thought I saw a few from here in the forums.

jmkhalfmoon, I saw you and your daughter. At the time I didn't know that was you. My partner commented to me about your daughters dress, saying "that little girls has a lot of money on her". She looked adorable.

Master James, I saw you and pointed you out to my husband, but I never made the connection of who the fop actually was!  Huzzah to you.  People were definitely picture happy yesterday...I've never been stopped so many times to have people snap us.

I agree! I demand an outrageous codpiece for such an outrageous, super outfit! Al large one where you can keep your money and... ahem... other vaulables... hahaha!

Great job from both of you!

What would be extra funny is a squeaky toy in the cod peice you can squeak at people....  my friend Lis has one in her courtesan outfit made by Stimpzilla and we call her Squeakers!!! it's hilarious!

Well it was planned but we ran out of time.  I still have sleeves, codpiece and cape to do yet plus more enhancements to the doublet for next year!  Thanks for all the kind words on it.  I wasn't sure how it was going to come out but it worked wonderfully!
