These were taken by one of my mundane world co-workers who ventured out to the faire on this past Sunday.  Enjoy.

Now THAT IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!

I looked through that blog, and it turns out that I am joined by Queen Bonnie as well!!! Huzzah to the media masses!

Funny how over half the people in that slideshow were good friends of mine. LOL

i think that's bc the photographer was obsessed with people in chain mail and belly dancers!!! that must have been from the first weekend since i didn't see one fairy in the bunch :(  i personally think our fair photographers got tons better shots!! huzzah to valt, fergus, melkar, mrsmccunn and others :)

Um, last time I checked, I don't wear chain maille, and neither do the guys from Dark Cloud Leather. That photo was taken on Sunday morning, I was in the middle of an interview with Catherine O'Riley. Nice girl :P

Yeah - I think he had more of a breast fetish, and it didn't seem to matter if the subject was male or female.

Not that theres ANYTHING wrong with that, Having a breast fetish that is (o:

I personally prefer mine to be of the female variety

Ok wow....

THE PHOTOGRAPHER WAS FEMALE!!!!!!!!! A MUNDANE, ABERCROMBE/GAP WEARING, WELL PUT TOGETHER FEMALE!! She was very sweet, and asked very nicely to take my picture. I highly doubt that there was anything behind it- she shot what she found to be interesting. I'm proud to be one of her interests :P

i didn't mean to offend anyone.... i wasn't talking bout her subjects and choices of people to photograph.... just the actual quality of the shots.  they seemed far away and not as well oriented in composition as our fair photographers shots

Mabey that's their style. I myself am a photographer and have noticed that most people try to take them in portrait style. The type featured in Houston Press was more editorial/documentary. Which is how they should be for press, show more of the environment as well. I posted it because I thought it was cool that Blue was in the main photo.

Besides, I see all types of people bragging about what they use to take their pics all the time. I may be young but I'm old school, Olympus e500, I actually have to focus my camera not point and click or auto focus like most Nikons and Canons are now. I come out with images completely in focus and use unorthodox angles to enhance the pic. Just my little input. I haven't had time to walk around and take any this year because I'm working, but I will soon.

Since Vault takes everyone pics and no one takes his pic
Here's Vault

And ohdearlordinheaven I had NO idea how tall you are until I actually saw you this weekend.  6' 7" is it?  Yeah.  Dwarfs me.  But, I had a great time tossing tacos with you!

6'8" actually, but I won't begrudge it being off an inch :)  And the height apparently doesn't help with the taco tossing...

I never realize how tall I am till I see a picture of me standing next to someone, which Fergus just graciously provided.  At least he is wearing a hat, so I don't look too overly tall.  Well, unless you notice the people walking behind me.

A pic of you and I together, Valt, would look quite interesting.  Since you are over a foot and a half taller than me!

About 380 images from opening weekend, and another 700 from the second weekend.
Plenty of pictures of cast members and patrons whom I do not know.

You know Valt, your lens is almost as tall as you..lol

Between you, Paul and Sir Martin, you're sorely tempting me to go fondle some Canons and maybe retire my Nikon D40.  :D

I mainly ended up with a Canon because I had a Canon Rebel 2000 film camera for a black & white photography class I took in college.  Since I had a couple lenses already it was the way to go.  Nikon makes a good camera too.  Although as far as I know they don't have any white lenses that say "Look at me!" that I am aware of.  :)
