My hubby Marcus MacLaren and I plan to attend on Saturdays of opening weekend, Highland Games, and Renaissance Romance, the ways things look now.  I had a Faire dream last night, and the anticipation of the 2009 season is beginning!

I would like to be there every weekend, actually I would like to be there this weekend...could they mayhaps open the gates and just let us roam the grounds!!?? But, since there are only the weekends in April and May...
Ryk O'Shay and his lovely lady Sherree will be there opening day Saturday, the following weekend 4/11 on Saturday only, then on the 18th and 19th (if that is Highland weekend) and staying at one of the local Inns, Ryk Rakham and his pirate wench Jezz the Belle will be there for Pirate Invasion weekend all weekend and closing weekend all three days and staying at an Inn. We will mix in another day or two (perhaps Mothers Day Saturday) along the way.
Can't wait to see you all, and meet some new friends. See you at the Faire....the 4th of April can't come fast enough.

Well, the shop I was planning on working for won't be returning to Scarborough this year, so...I won't be there every day as I planned. Which isn't a bad thing, it was going to be tough working everything out where I got weekends off with me just getting hired at Kroger and everything. But! My father, amazingly enough, has offered to buy me a FoF pass maybe, as an early Christmas present...so. Who knows right now.

I recall having seen someone who may have been VIII, but I've never managed to actually visit with him to be sure.
One has to be careful of the royals, one minute they want you working for them as buccaneers and the next the proclaim you as a pirate.

I'll be there opening weekend (April 3,4,5), staying at the Drunken Gnome reserved block at the Super 8 motel.

I have purchased a Friend of Faire admission. Just what does that get me? I see that it means a reserved parking area and a crashing area within faire, plus two additional tickets.
