I sowwy....Ms. Laura  :-[...I'd mention spankings but I tend to get yelled at when I do.

Another question. What do ya'll do with all your faire-fair during the year? Clearing  my "list". And I got most all I can get ahead of time and it's just a pile in the closet now. Doublet, britches and Dra shirt are in a vacuum garment bag and that's as organized as the pile is. :-\

I live less than 10 minutes away in the sprawling metropolis of Magnolia.

I hold up my glass in the general direction of TRF once or twice or three times...ok every day  ;D

A spritz of downy usually takes care of any stubborn ones.  it's not my formal one... that's the one i'll be buried in and it's under lock & key.

I have 2 poly and a wool - special weave Stewart black & White.

I find the wool easier to take care of then the poly except for the heat!

Lady Laura

Ah, I do love a man who knows his fabric and how to take care of it  ;)

MacKee

Aye, you are right about that. I like the ploy better. Me wife wanted the Stewart, which is only 2 mills will weave, so wool it was.

Wool breathes better than poly, though... and nothing swings so well!

Hubby got a custom 18oz wool from Stewart Christie in Edinburgh when we were there this spring...

and honestly, the fact that his was made 'back home' is only special to those of us with really deep connections with our heritage- as far as quality goes, it's not much better than any of the better ones you can order here...
