 For those who live on the west coast you know why there is so much fuss.  In and out burger is opening 4 stores in the Dallas area.  1 in a block from my work, another 3 miles from my house.  They are opening their doors this wed. May 11th.

An Animal Burger is calling my name.  ::Drool::
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

In and Out Burger has a "secret" menu.  They have their normal menu that is posted, but they have secret recipes in their computer that people who love the place have found.  This is a link to the most up to date "secret" menu options.

There are many places where compromise is expected;
LOYALTY is not amongst them.

Reminds me of some old TV and magazine ads...." 4 out of 5 doctors recommend Camel cigarettes."  I'm guessing that 4 out of 5 cardiologists don't recommend this restaurant, but that won't stop me. My cardiologist won't know until I'm dead!  ;D

Ohh wow.. I guess this could give me another excuse to move back to Texas.. In and Out and Whataburger... bring on the heart attack!!!

Since I live in SoCal now, I can get these all the time, but only go over there maybe once a month or every other month... when I lived in Texas, I used to crave in and out burgers...

It doesn't help to have a Sonic within a mile...and at least 20 restaurants within 5 minutes.  A few of them are actually nice places and not fast food.

Just a side commen: I remember when Sonic was advertising around here for literally 2 years solid. The food and drinks looked like awesome sauce; classic drive up stuff. And they really ran a TON of those commercials. Except the problem was that here was no Sonics that I knew of. I did a google seach and the closest one was like 200 miles away. We just couldnt figure out why they were advertising here since we werent going to drive 200 miles for a fast food burger. Well, they finally opened one up in the area a few years back and we rushed down there to check it out.  And really, the food was just meh. The drink and shakes are tasty for sure, but it just never made the cut of "places we should go to get food"; I just wish it was better. We still go for drinks though.

It all depends on who has the franchise....around here, Sonic is hands-down the best fast food.  I don't know where you are Valiss...what is the best fast food in your area? (I'd love to have a Whataburger close by!)

Speaking of heart attacks...We are getting a Heart Attack Grill in Dallas too...they actually are supposed to open Friday.

For those who haven't heard of them http://www.heartattackgrill.com/ there's the website. It doesn't have much detail on it, but I saw a show about it on Food Network like a year ago...and have wanted to go since. The waitstaff are all nurses and doctors and they will wheelchair you to your car...and well just look at the burgers...*drool*

OMG Lady Stitch you just made my day!!  In-n-Out Burger is one of the biggest things I miss about So Cal.  I lived there for a few years and instantly became addicted lol!  Hope they make it to Houston too!
