They seem a little biased towards the western shores. I prefer the Blackberry from Pirtle Winery near St. Louis. Order it when you can as it sells out very fast and not within 3 months of the Christmas holidays, they are certain to be sold completely out. Blackberry is slightly sweet, those who like dry, their standard mead is good as well. Raspberry is new, haven't tried that yet.

I noticed that they don't ship to a lot of the southern states: Arkansas (home), Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, South Dakota...

Yes. And very much not their fault. In our home state (Alabama ) they have laws pertaining to any shipping of alcohol INTO said state, likely the others have similar. For example for us to get a shipment we have to fill out paperwork, jump through hoops and pay a tax ( or two, state and local if I remember correctly ) on it.
