I tried on my "formal" outfit that I'm planning to wear Saturday night, and both the wife and the roommate thought it looked good although I may have to adjust the spats since they're a little big. The wife's prop bandolier for her costume just arrived in the mail. The hats for the airship crew should arrive tomorrow or Monday.

The arsenal for the crew is done except for a little touch up on the paint here and there. The wife's raygun:

Thanks I replaced the barrel with a cheap LED light stick I found at Walgreens. I just also added a couple copper tubes running from the old CO2 cartridges to the  butt as if they are some sort of function tanks of aether. I found a couple NERF Mavericks (The revolvers) and modded them as well.

I have to spend some time today dulling cheap straight razors for prop "side arms" for our crew.

I actually shaved part of my chin for a more Victorian look. It was a little scarey I haven't seen my bare chin since 1979
