It appears that some enterprising film makers in Austin have decided to make a comedy sitcom about working at a ren faire.  They are using Sherwood as their stage.  They are looking for contributors.  Here is their Indiegogo page http://goo.gl/scTZc.  Besides funds, they are looking for bodies to help out as well.  Another opportunity to hang out in the forest and get dressed up (o:

That video really shows some promise. Here's hoping they can get off the ground and at least produce it and upload it online for viewing pleasures of many!

Awesome! Now that more people know I'm sure they'll get plenty of donations. I've pledged some and plan on inviting them to our campgrounds after hours for bbq. I'm sure many of us will offer food and drinks to them. Huzzah!

Do you have a more specific date they will be filming? I was planning to come to SFF in March sometime. This sounds like a good time to be there.

There is a tab on the fund raiser site that allows you to ask questions (registration required).  However, since the faire has obviously agreed to allow them to film there, I would bet Rengypsy would probably have the answer to that question.  The next question would be, will visitor be welcome.  I suspect they will be in need of extras.

This looks like it could be really good and hope everything works out for them. I know I will be around throughout the season so hopefully I will be able to witness some of it.

Also, there is another show similar to this called All's Faire.
