2012 Midlands Pirate festival

  Big change this year!  Dates moving from fall to spring (last year it was in August).   This was a very popular event in 2010 and 2011.    The only complaints were that it was too hot to have it in August and September was not much better.    May has been a wonderful weather month in Omaha for the last couple years.
   This will be the weekend before the Renaissance festival at the same location.

Dates: May 5-6, 2012

Times: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cost: $10 for adults, $6 for kids, 3 and under free.

Location: Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch. 11001 S. 48th St near Papillion, ideally located between Highway 370 and Cornhusker Rd. (in other words, it's at S. 48th & Cornhusker).

   Time to dig out the tattered finery and the grogg flask; get the leather oiled and the steel polished.    Perhaps a new feather for me hat!
