I like the seven sisters plan as well. Gives the ones in the parade a chance to visit everyone as well. And... unlike TRF and Scarby we don't have to wait around for the ones in the parade to come back and visit.
Also gives me a chance to video the parade as it comes down the lane

Don't want to sound dramatic, but after everything I've been though in the last several months I can't really express how much I need to be out in the forest with all you folks.  I feel like I never get to spend enough time with y'all.

I will make sure to drag the PP, Fuzzlet, our two friends (Tyrod and Joe) to the gathering.  Tyrod and Joe are camping with PR. 

Someone asked me if we were taking Fuzzlet to faire with us.  I laughed. I have a feeling if we didn't there would be some rather 'upset' people about. 

Garb is pulled out and repaired.  Items are getting washed and packed.  I even stopped sewing on my sewing machine (which says something) so that I spend time getting ready to go. :: bounce bounce:: is it time yet?

I'm feeling the same way, my friend. Just returned a few minutes ago from a funeral for someone I'd known longer—over 56 years—than anyone else in my life, other than immediate family. It was his time, he was tired—that happens when you turn 92—so although I'm sad because I'll miss him, I'll try not to grieve as he advances to whatever the next step may be.

Well then it looks like I won't make the M&G as that's the the Feast starts and I have tickets for the first sitting.

Well, it's like Lady Rosanne de Rosannadana would say, "It's always something!"  We could do it Sunday, too...

At some point this season I am going to do that feast as well. It sounds grand.
I think no matter which time it is there is always going to be a scheduling issue. But we can do it both days and hopefully get everyone that way!

You have my vote for both days Teach! It will give anyone who is coming later on in the day to avoid the nippy mornings a chance to meet all.

Well, that and getting caught in rain and cold last year at TRF and ending up with both of us terribly sick..... They are light enough that if it happens ot be warmer than anticipated, they do not smother a person.

Our newly reserved hotel in Bastrop shows us being around 17 miles away from Sherwood, so we should be at tailgate at a decent time.

Which hotel, Maeven? We're in Bastrop as well at the Quality Inn... It's a little bit of a drive to faire. Part of the drive, thru the Bastrop State Park, was pretty last year, but I think the fire destroyed most of the park.

i think most people will be hanging out around 9, if I remember the last 5 pages right . Meet and greet was after the parade at 7 sisters.
