Oh, the things that make the off-season pass oh so quicker...this weekend, DuClaw is tapping a keg of their new "31", described as a "spiced muncih dunkel"...mmmmmmmmm.....just back from a couple of pints of the 2009 "Madbishop"...mmm (no freakin' t-shirts this year, at lest at Arundel Mills!)...

Its the 29th...rejoice...faire opens 10 months from today!

Well ... It appears that I have the MDRF to look forward too, as well.  A good friend just moved to Germantown, MD recently, and we visited her.  It turns out she had attended the the Faire it's last weekend and was impressed.  She went in mundanes, but bought a bodice and is determined to sew the rest of an outfit so she can go next year in full garb.  Of course, she insisted that I and my fair spouse come down and attend the Faire with her.  We could not possibly refuse.  We haven't set a date, but its certain that sometime next season I will venture out of my normal NorthEast haunts and venture south to MDRF.

I'm looking forward to it.  Just the chance to see the lady in a bodice .... for sure my wife will rap me upside the head if I let my gaze wander too much, but I've got enough time that I think I can learn how to duck before then.. .

Frederic, Any faire day is a ggreat day to be at MDRF but for next season note that Labor Day weekend members of this forum will be invading MDRF for Rendezvous 2009
