Remembering Terry Griffith

At least some of the people on this forum will remember Terry Griffith, The Irish Troubadour. One year he was knighted Sir Stringslayer. He last performed at Pittsburgh in 2009, and continued to perform at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire until 2017.

When COVID hit, Terry decided to retire altogether.

In June 2022, we held a retirement party for him at Mullaney's Harp & Fiddle Irish Pub in Pittsburgh, where he had performed for 28 years. Pictures and videos can be seen at the links below.

On November 11, 2022, we got word Terry had passed away in his sleep. The number of tributes and stories was amazing. He had such a positive effect on so many people.
