Duke Fairfax

I normally don't ask.  I tend to keep to myself.  ...but, because I have people riding me about this, I am asking.

It has been quite some time since Duke Fairfax had some new raiments.  The Duke has also put on a little weight (re: he's a fat cow now), so that is a factor now as well.  The problem is that I cannot pay for a costume to get made per se.  I can pay for materials, but the labor would kill me.  I plan on also getting new boots and accessories this offseason so Fairfax actually looks more...Dukish.  So, if anyone out there would be willing to help in this endeavor, please e-mail me at dukefairfax(AT)gmail(DOT)com.

Thanks for reading

Happy to help if you would like me to. It's not like I have a life :) By the way, you are most certainly, NOT a  fat cow. Sheesh.

Duke Fairfax's New Clothes?

I know none of the ladies would object should you go that route.

Lord Virgil

Cyron,

Lord Fairfax is our Master of Revels.  He's the one in the queen's entourage that has the long dark hair usually wearing a gold colored outfit and is always being threatened with the queen's count to three!  In the pre-opening skit, he's the one that this year was put in charge of security and everyone laughs thinking they're joking.
Nothing better in life than enjoying a pint amongst friends...Huzzah!

Because Fairfax is an idiot. Not in real life, of course (he's my boss and therefore brilliant), but in character, dumber than Fortissima.

He insists he's in gold. I say he's more saffron, than Saffron.

He shot Red Shoes!

Well Lord knows, someone had too. It was only a matter of time till CAPTAIN Pandora keel-hauled him, or he was run through.

Fairfax would fall for it, but Brian would not. He's smart. Now, if we got him drunk...and pretended just right and got the other directors involved...

So, i should bring the full gallon of watermelon cordial then?

Duke Fairfax

What are we forgetting, kids?

That's right.

Brian doesn't drink.

But I'd be willing to bet Fairfax drinks like a fish....

what with the pressures of Duke-hood....

and the village to protect....

and having to avoid hearing my stories...

and putting up with my sister...

yep. I'll bet he knocks a back a few.  ;D

Ah....so you've heard one of my stories, have you?  :D

(or, you've met my sister!)

either one, by itself, can cause a person to run for the rum. add them up, and you can see why Fairfax is the way he is.  ;D

And having to deal with all those peasant dancers just adds to the problems.

I might be able to hook Briarius up with some noble garb for cheap.  I've got several hundred yards of fabric and don't mind sewing for people as long as it's appreciated :)

Your sewing work is always appreciated and I love my gown to pieces. :D *HUGS* I'm sure Duke Fairfax will look fantastic whatever you make end up making him. :)
The more you worry, the longer it will take.
