Ethel

He was pretty quiet but once in a while he would just break out into a smile.

My favorite part was the guy was takign a break inside and BJ said, "Let's see how many noseprints we can get on his window!"  So we tromped over there and smushed our faces against the glass, making faces at him.  He made a face back. :)

Charlotte Rowan

That is great. I had overheard them talking about that at cast call, but I didn't know so many people were going to be involved. Thanks for sharing, Rafe.

I wonder if anyone has pictures?
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

It was a great time watching him.  Like Ethel said, he was quiet.  But every once in a while you would see him smile or his hand or foot tapping in time with the music.  His family, friends & neighbors made a point of making the rounds to the various entertainers that came out and thanking us over and over.

PS:  If you see a copy of the Pioneer Press, there is evidentally another smaller version of the article with pictures.

I am so impressed with the people who went out and did that for him!

How amazing!  :)

That is a very moving story.  Definitely needed a kleenex.

I remember hearing about this from the list serve. What a wonderful idea to do that.
