 She is so smart- I just show her the water squirter and she knows to back off.  She is not always bad- just active and curious I guess.
  Was Yoshi ever like this when he was a kitten? I don't think so.

Oreo is my main active cat...but when Angus gets going it is a fur cover lard ball rolling! It can be so funny!

 Hot times around Meow Manor! Just the weather.
  Gearing up for Sunday and Monday at Scarby.  Thinking cool thoughts.
Sad the faire season will be over. It will be a long Summer- but the pool helps!

  Alas-My poor pitiful plumbing is not up to another ARRG party.  It just got too large! my plumbing needs help. I am on a waiting list for a new cleanout from the LCRA.
I might have a small gathering here for the Sherwood folks who do the  Elgin Western Days parade.
Today had way too much drama!

I had a friend here for lunch and was showing her some of my dolls when my REAL overly Familiar ,Tachi keeled over and could not stand. He is diabetic so I shoved corn syrup in his mouth and rushed him to the vet. We were both scared. My friend is a cat lover too so understood.
Tachi will bo Ok. Low Glucose levels. He will need to be watched for a bit and is off insulin. My Scarby plans have changed to just a day trip on Sat. I have my dear vet tech watching Tachi Sat afternoon. She is a gem!
He is my baby.
Glad this happened while my vet was open- not late at night when I could not get him help. No emergency vet clinic nearby and I don't drive at night. It is a worry.

Poor Tachi,
So sad he is having so many problems.  I wish I could make it up to camp out for the Western thingy but things are nuts as always!!!  Working with the new cow to get her tamed down!

 Tachi is such a gentle, sweet cat. I hate him being so sick- but he seems Ok today.He purred and cuddled with me all night.
I'd LOVE it if you could come visit any time CAT! I have a nice pool! my guest room is yours!
There is a Sherwood gathering on the 12th of June too.
Good luck taming the cow! LOL!

Penelope cow let me milk her this PM....YEAH! I ordered books on cheese making and milk soap making today! Been meaning to do that but....We have a milking stand for the goats but have to add a ramp then I can milk the goats and sheep! Glad to hear Tachi is doing better!!! Tomorrow is our day of fun and hanging with our homeys!!! Then off to see Blue Oyster Cult and Foghat.... YEAH!

 Wow! That sounds great Cat! That will keep you busy.
I got my first BIG tomato today. The veggie garden is looking good. The Cannas and gardenias are blooming.  Tachi is still doing OK.  Not doing anything special today. Garden club tomorrow. Scarby is still going on- but I miss faire already.

I have been getting tomatoes for several weeks now!!! I harvested a basket of potatoes and a few onions and I got two Monster zucchini and a big crookneck today! I have also been canning peaches and plum jam... need to can again today! Cleaned the dryer so I can do a few Romas and some herbs. I may also dry some of the squash....makes a good addition to my soup mix! Watering the garden again today. The corn is growing nicely and melons have baby melons on them... BUT it is HOT out today! Yeah I wish faire was spread out a bit more. We went and saw Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult at Sam Houston Sat.... Foghat was GREAT... BOC was marginal!Had fun!

 Today there was a sale and party at the local garden center. I rescued a few plants from the clearance table - 75% off. They looked OK. Just need a little TLC and planting in the garden.
I had cukes today too. I hate how they hide until they get HUGE!
It was a quiet day here. Too quiet. I miss faire- but feel sorry for those at Scarby in garb in this heat!
I am in my WET Renaissance bikini! LOL!

Yeah it was HOT here too..... breeze was nice! A friend came over to scavenge all the old metal for scrap. Nice that what we did not need will help them out...long story...Well off to get more done!!!

 Tachi was failing a bit- so had his glucose tested and he is back on insulin. 2 shots and 2 pills for thyroid disease each day. He is such a sweet gentle cat and I love him a lot. The rest are doing fine. Neri is still a handful- gets into everything- but is loving and cute too. Yoshi misses Chingy and batman is keeping critters at bay when he goes outside in the morning. He is my last outdoor cat.
Not loving this muggy weather- but saving my weather magick for faire days!
My garden is looking very nice. The TLC plants I bought are thriving!

Well, I was scheduled to take the EgypKITS to the new vet this morning for their annuals but had to call up to reschedule because Osiris didn't want to be found..........and 5 minutes after the phone call, he comes bounding into the bedroom. Typicatl.
