The Greek I found for my starter have 5 live cultures...so it is REALLY good for us! The fresh is so much better! This particular one ends up really thick and creamy...just add a bit of homemade jelly and stir..or use in cooking...YUMMY! If you can find Chobani brand yogurt it is far superior to any other i have found....

Queen Bonnie

Finding anything at the grocery store in Elgin is not easy. LOL. They discontinue everything I like. Lucky they even have Yoplait Greek yogurt! LOL. I get the plain and stir my own stuff into it or use it in cooking.
Working on staffs again today. Doing an interesting Burled maple one! Using BIG crystals too. Fun. Nice to see the sun again!
I am sure my grass is very long!

Yeah we saw sun for a bit then TORRENTIAL rain then sun again with mild wetting drizzle.... but no rainbows to take pics of..DARN!

All the stores do that. That is why I am freezing starter culture to use so if they don't have it I will still be able to make it!  YUM!

I got my fairy wand half done...still working at what else I want on it. Found it while cleaning brush out! Used silver soldier to tie down the wires and make a crystal cage! Sanded it and sealed it with poly...heavy poly coating it...I don't want it taking damage as I flit around! HEHE!

A friend brought by impatiens that a local nursery was tossing. I am a plant rescuer. Hope these will bounce back.I got them planted in my  shade garden yesterday.
Still working on wands and staffs today.I got a very twisty piece of wood at Sherwood. I am loving it.
Yours sounds awesome Cat. Can't wait to see it and your fae garb too.
Had to give Tachi a small dose of insulin this AM. Increased thirst is a sign that he needs it again. Keeping fingers crossed. He is very thin- but was playing with Yoshi yesterday- so I think he is feeling better.

OH I hope Tach is gonna feel better. So sad to hear he was needing it today...but I guess that is better than the other options!!! I love used plants...my mom and I tend to buy the sad plants and bring them home!

Queen Bonnie

I knew Tachi would go back on insulin. He was off it for a week this time. Just giving him a tiny dose- once a day for now. I hope his appetite improves.
I love it when plants that look like goners - rally with lots of TLC!

Well still working on all the odd projects. FINALLY found a one off contest for doll clothing.... not due till Sept but I have the dress about half finished! The darned cow has been in a tizzy and hauled off and kicked me in the thigh really hard yesterday. It is black, blue and very swollen.... kept me up all night! Feels a bit better today but only just!  Still working on the wing thing so the bodice is still on the mannequin awaiting the pieces! I can't finish it till he finishes his parts!!!!   But it is coming along slowly!

The horses and such are doing fine. The goat my mom bought a few weeks ago at the auction is going back...she is so STUPID! She gets her head caught in the fence nearly every day and she refuses to tame down.... So we have finally had it! Some stupid animals are not meant to live here!  Agapantha(aka AGGIE) is about as sweet a goat as any I have seen! Well so much to do! Off to do it!

Queen Bonnie

Ouch- sorry you got kicked Cat. Mend fast! No sense having an animal you don't like. There are so many nice ones out there. I'd hate removing a goat's head from the fence every day too!
I gave my staffs a rest today. Did errands and went to the farmers mkt. Quiet day.
Quiet is OK! Sure beats Nargle attacks!
Dreaming of TRF and cooler weather!
Tachi is eating a bit better- but still has a stuffy head.

"Let's play a game on Daddy! This time instead of you, I'll do it!"

I hope that's what they said, did to me tonight. The cat food in cans. Isis demands it all the time, Osiris often snubs it. Well, tonight, Isis begged for it but when I put it down, Osiris went right after it but Isis snubbed it. First time for Isis. But she was all cuddly afterwards, as she always is.

It had been delayed for a day since yesterday, she upchucked a present or two for me on the rugs. Standard kitten stuff that.

CATS..............you got to wonder about them................

C Dragonworks

YEAH...Mine have been on one... King is next to me on the sofa while I type... but ever so often Oreo runs through the house *singing* not sure what that is about. Mystic was pestering me this AM for pets... and hairballing the world! Angus only seeks you out on the toilet or in the bed.... Cats are weird beasts!

Queen Bonnie

Tachi is my love! He is the purring cuddler. He is eating a bit better each day. Neri is my helper cat. Everyone needs one. They make sure you never finish anything- unless you lock them out of your work area. I had to do that today to finish a staff. Wire wrapping and gemstone beads are fun for cats. Glue, paint and crystals also are fun to play with.
LOL. Yoshi watches me and looks beautiful. Batman goes in and out 400 times a day and keeps an eye on me when I am outside watering the plants.
Working on many projects today. Finished another staff- maple burl with tons of crystals- brass wire wrap with gemstones! Awesome if I do say so myself.

Tachi is having trouble breathing this AM. His sinus infection is back- or never went away. Hard treating diabetic cats. I have a call in to my vet.
I worry about my poor little overly familiar. Luckily he is eating OK.
I am making pirate earrings for my Evil Twin. Cats and skulls in venetian glass beads and amber! She was complaining about not being able to find earrings she likes at faire- she always just steals mine anyway! Pirates!

I've always wondered how you manage to get them back before she leaves again...  Do you just feed her scotch (oh, or rum, since she's a pirate) until she keels over on the duvet and take them back then, or do you tie her up with a spell, flip her over and shake her until everything falls on the floor?  ;)  :D

I hope Tachi will feel better very soon!

So how is your kitty???? I do hope they got him cleared up. Are they doing injectable antibiotics??? It would seem getting it in him quickly with the stronger stuff would be better than treating him for weeks with the lesser drug. Have they determined if it is bacterial or viral? If not have them culture it...it can save a lot of unneeded treatments... and tell them what drug will actually work as well. I know it is so hard to deal with because he is so sick.... I just hope they get it figured out!

Around here I had to laugh....we went into the front pasture to unload the hay bales and dropped the first one which was attacked by the bull! It was SOOOOOO funny... Then the red colt did the same thing....and the 3 arabs... sometimes the critters are a RIOT!

Queen Bonnie

Tachi is doing much better today. Perhaps he has a mold allergy like mine? The Chlorephenirimine is working. I got baby nose drops too- the vet advised this- just in case. Just stuffy this time- not an infection. It is a vicious circle treating a diabetic cat  with antibiotics. It does things to the insulin dose and upsets his stomach so he does not eat. At least he is eating! Whew!
I thought Batman was in last PM- but guess I left him out all night. He was no where around this AM.I hope Batman Returns! Probably hiding until he is good and ready to appear- I HOPE! I have called and called and walked around the block and told the neighbors to look for him. he is probably hiding laughing at my efforts- or sleeping after a night of adventure.
My evil twin knows if she does not return my belongs- I can retaliate- with magick! POOF!!! A glittering pirate ship would be the laughing stock of the Caribbean. She returns my belongings- but I think it is like a game to her to see how much she can get away with each time she comes. And I do have to hide most of the Scotch when she visits. She likes Rum too- anything but Gin. LOL
