So, every year around this time, I start thinking "What have I learned this year?"  It's kind of a way to purge out all the bad stuff, smile one more time at the good stuff, and just generally reflect on the year.  So, what have -you- learned this year?

A few of mine:

-Some people are just not healthy to have in your life...they're toxic, and no matter how much you love them, you have to get away.
-Hate and anger are just big wastes of time and energy you could be spending on MUCH more fun things.
-You really know who your friends are when, no matter how far away they are, they manage to make you feel better with an online hug.
-Butterscotch Loki is AMAZING.
-When you love someone, you will know the truth.
-Sometimes, the people you expect to kick you when you're down will surprise you by helping you up instead.
-You have a LOT more fun if you let the walls down, and it's a lot easier to make friends that way, too.
-Emotional pain, no matter how bad it hurts, won't hurt that bad forever...and it might even go away if you let it.
Lust.
Pirate.
Wench.
Mischievous Little Imp.
Dinosaur.

I've learned how flippin' hard it is to be humble, plus- I noticed today that my hair was perfect, finally, and we only have this many days until Christmas. I've learned how easy it is for me to just go all over the place.

A note on anger- one emotion we experience when we feel out of control, or insecure about our ability to handle a given situation, or- what happens when the kicker misses the game winning field goal, or- what happened when my Mom threw my KISS records in the trash- a few days ago! I'm 48!

That's cold man...I mean she gave you life and all that stuff but that's just cold.

Maybe that was her evil plan, I'll give birth, love 'em like there's no one else in the world, then just as they feel comfy and warm...in the trash with their 70's vinyl...

Revenge, a dish best served cold... ;D
"Why a spoon cousin? Why not an axe?"
Because it's dull you twit, it'll hurt more. Now SEW, and keep the stitches small
