:'(  I'm so sorry for your loss Wenchie, ((HUGS))  :'(
So what are you doing this weekend?
I'm going to BARF!!!
You're going to...wait...WHAT???

Anna Iram

I'm sorry too. It's hard to let a favorite pet pass along. Even when it's had a good long life.

Rani Zemirah

Oh Wenchie, I'm so sorry for your loss. There's no love like the love you get from a wonderful furry friend... and you had 15 amazing years! How lucky you've been, but that only makes it hurt more, I know.

Thank you, everyone, for your sympathies.

It's been a tough year. I lost Taliesin last December, the dog in September and now Cleo.

The vet thinks Cleo's heart just gave out. He was eating and just fine earlier this morning.

Show me your tan lines..and I'll show you mine!

I just want to be Layla.....

Lady Renee Buchanan

Oh, honey, I am so sorry for your loss.  Be at peace knowing that you gave him love and a good life for 15 years.  He's waiting for you, along with the others, at the Rainbow Bridge.

Hugs.

I'm so sorry for your loss. HUGS!

I'm sorry about your cat and about your other recent lost pets. What a terrible year for you. It's so hard to loose a cat, especially one you have had for so long.

Queen Bonnie

Oh Wenchie! What sad news! BIG HUGS. I know how you feel. Cats are family and each one is special. Their passing is never easy and leaves a big hole in your life. I am so sorry for your loss.

Aw Welsh that is so sad. I am so glad that your baby had 15 wonderful years filled with love and kitty happiness.  Hugs for your loss. :(

Lady Neysa

I wasn't sure if I should post this here or not, but figure since this is where everyone talks about their cats, I guess its as good a place as any.

All you cat folks, I need some major help getting inside my cat's head.  We had unfortunately gotten behind on her  monthly flea meds and she had gotten flea dermatitis.  She's been back on the meds now for several weeks and is getting better with the itchiness.  However, she is holding a major grudge and has decided to make her opinion known by peeing on my kitchen counter.  She still uses the litter box to poo, and it's cleaned everyday, but I don't know what to do about the peeing.  She's obviously unhappy about something, I'm very unhappy, and she's ruining my counter. I don't even want to use that part of the counter now, even though I clean it with antibacterial cleaner and bleach.  I don't know what else to do.  I've tried locking her in the basement with the litter box in hopes of re-training her, but I think that makes her more spiteful.   I really don't want to have to get rid of her, but if this doesn't stop soon I may have no choice. I'm about at my wit's end.   Any thoughts or suggestions?

Queen Bonnie

That is a bad problem. I have no idea what you can do. talk to your vet?
I had a cat who bit me and a feral cat person suggested I hiss at him every time he did it. It stopped right away. Try hissing when she gets near the spot on the counter. All I can come up with.

May I present our kitten {well, she's a 'teen-ager' now} Nergal {not to be confused with 'nargle' - lol}-

I snapped this pic this morning with the built-in webcam while she was 'exploring' our new laptop. {Sorry she looks a little washed out - she's a much more deep ginger - I just haven't figured out the flash on the webcam yet!}

She found us at the beginning of October - we were having dinner with my Father-in-law, and as we were leaving the restaurant my FIL mentioned that he thought he heard a cat. Well, the closer we got to our van, the louder the meowing got, and there was this tiny, orange, skinny, adorable little baby meowing her head off directly under the rear bumper of our van! I sat down in the parking lot and she came right over to me and got in my lap - meowing the whole time - and head-butted my hand for more petting!

We brought her home with us that night. She was so skinny and malnourished that she meowed the whole time she was eating. We were careful not to leave too much food or water down at first as we were afraid she might over-do it and make herself sick. I only had to show her the litter box once, but she did meow for me to come with her for the first day or so, as if to ask if it was really ok, or maybe she just wanted 'Mom' nearby  :)

I checked lost pets ads wherever I could find them, and didn't see any matching her description, but since she was so tiny, and in an area that is mostly business and industrial, I'm pretty sure she was dumped.

She's such a happy and loving cat, and my husband and I have completely fallen in love with her... and she's been snuggling and getting into things and just generally developing into a very wonderful, smart, beautiful young cat ever since she found us.
