I wondered why the new gas station was taking so long to open down by I35. I bet they were waiting so they could sell beer and wine.

I guess this means that Scarby pubs don't have to be private clubs anymore.

Yes and no, I discovered. Monte and I had stickers, which worked at one pub, but not at the pub by the chess match. He didn't have his ID with him that time and they refused to sell without it (unless you look 80?) Guess they figure we could've gotten the stickers from a friend?

Just kidding....sorry that someone gave you a hard time but the pubs changed people around this year a lot.
Hopefully by next weekend they will get their routine down.

I just tried absinthe for the first time at a bar in Arlington a couple of nights ago. It was an interestingly satisfying buzz to say the least! Good thing I was walking home...
