I wondered about those Scream tickets too...Never got mine either. Hm.

As I now understand, there was no written letter sent.  Was told people needed to read the newsletter (so check your spam filters/Junk mail).

Boils down to if you haven't already RSVP'd, you need to do so by tomorrow.

Just got an email from Scarby.  Here's the body of it:

In just two weeks it will be opening day of our 29th Season and we will once again "Throw wide the gates and let Scarborough Faire begin". We look forward to seeing all of you here.

****** FRIENDS OF THE FAIRE AND SEASON PASS HOLDERS PLEASE NOTE *******
The last day to have your photo ID picture scheduled and made in the office or to E-MAIL your picture is Wednesday, March 25.  After that you will have to have your picture made at the gate.  We highly recommend emailing your picture to pictures@SRFestival.com so that we can have your photo ID pass ready when you first arrive this season.

OPENING DAY – We will have two lines for those who do not already have their photo ID's.  Line #1 will be for those who have sent in their pictures.  (It will be the faster moving line.) Line #2 will be for those who still need their pictures taken. (It will be the slower moving line.) We will open the lines at 9 am on opening day at the Souvenir Gypsy Wagon outside the front gate.  BE SURE AND BRING YOUR ONLINE PRINTED TICKET!

Friends of the Faire will be able to have their picture ID's made at the Friend of the Faire Preview event on Sunday, March 29 as well.

No letter - just an email saying the photo for my ID was OK.  From the FAQ on the Friends of Faire page:

When is the special Friend of the Faire preview?

Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 1pm to 6pm. We will begin taking photos at 1pm; dinner service will begin at 4pm. The preview is open to Friends of the Faire only and passes will be checked at the gate. Please call the office at 972-938-3247 no later than March 20, 2009 and make reservations so that we know how much food to order.

Don Juan and I both received emails saying our photos were ok, but no newsletter since 2/10. We probably
won't go to the preview event in garb if we drive my car as there isn't room for all the accessories.

The gal in the Scarby office said there were no letters sent out this year.  And FoFs are asked to please not wear garb at the Preview (I suppose so any new performers won't be confused as to who we are).  I'll be in my dark gray jeans, white tank top, carrying my purple umbrella, and with my son in tow ... or on a leash, lol.

Look for us so I can say hi! :-)
