So funny story about lacing.....


My first morning of TRF last year I walked out of my tent and asked....half asleep if anyone would be willing to tie me up....

And my TRF cherry was popped.

I severely almost read that wrong..thank goodness for qualifiers.

I seem to recall you asking quite a few people to "tie you up"... and it didn't have much to do with laces.  In fact, didn't you walk around with a pair of fleece lined shackles on your wrists pretty much the whole weekend?

 No...the only person who put me in cuffs was Z and I don't think those were fleece lined.....I spent far too much time free

Ummm... I believe I recall you letting yourself be led around by them a great deal of the time one day, and not by Z, either...  heheh

You would have to remind me ..... I honestly don't recall fleece shackles.... a friend of mine has some and I love them...but we were only together for about 10 mins at TRF......herm......fleece lined shackles and I don't remember them...something is very wrong here..

Yep... there were lined with something, I recall clearly, and it was all the way from the middle of Faire back to camp, so I know it was more than 10 minutes... LMAO  C'mon, now... your memory is better than that!    I do recall you holding out your wrists so Z could buckle them on, but I'm pretty sure you held them out for someone else to snap them together, and then lead you around for quite a long time afterward...

OH! Wait if it was him...then we all walked back to camp, cooled off, changed, grabbed a bite and went back in....

Yep... that was the day... and the shackles.    I'm pretty sure they were lined, because it was mentioned that they wouldn't chafe.

You did, however, keep them on the rest of that day... and evening, I do believe.  There were still there at the fire, I'm pretty sure.

OH! ok.....but they weren't clasped the whole time.....THAT'S why I couldn't remember....I did wear them...and they were leather and ..... yup yup! You go girl on the remembering thing! lol Because I apparently suck at it!

I'm pretty sure I'll be over on 0 with P.R and the Scoundrels again.  It's nice and quiet (relatively speaking, anyway...   ) over there, so the renlet and I can sleep easily.  What about you?

Oh, and my poor head is just stuffed with little pictures like that, still life in color...  In fact, you were wearing a dark red (wait... was it green, instead of red?) bodice, white chemise and a... was it a black cotton skirt with black boots?  And the next day you left the chemise off and wore a corset.  See?  Drives me nuts sometimes...    heheh

Ok, so now I'm starting to doubt my recall... maybe it was a red corset the next day?

I am going tent shopping...any thoughts (this is to more than Rani though her thoughts are great!)

Well, I had all the colors right, at least... just had them paired wrong to begin with.  LOL  Oh, 'cept the blue skirt... 

Depends on what you're looking for in a tent.  Do you want it big enough to put an air mattress in, or something light and small?

Lol Learned my lesson last year. I want an air mattress....big enough for one queen with room to move about. And if it isn't too much to ask...to be able to stand in the middle to dress.....being 6'1 has it's disadvantages....
