I'm too far south for wonderful weather quite yet methinks. Houston felt just as usual. /sigh  I know if I got a teensy breeze of cooler air, I'd be too giddy to calm down.  I passed by Academy earlier today and looked longingly at the building!     I know exactly how you feel getting ready for camping.  Can't WAIT!

Oh, it was gorgeous out at the lake today, about 80*, light breeze, sunny, with nice comfy water.  We took the boat out, went exploring on the little island, and hung out with my brother and SIL.  Tomorrow is the "party day", though, when everyone will be out with us, and I'll be testing a couple Blender Roulette recipes on the crowd...   

Even though it's supposed to get back up into the low/mid 90's next week, as long as it doesn't get back up into the 100's I think I can handle it until it actually does become fall around here...  It felt good to be outside, for a change.

Got the inside of the t/t cleaned up.  I think I am going to go ahead and get the bedding and stuff set up tomorrow.  Too much coming up in these next few weekends before opening cannon to have time later.  OMG IT'S ALMOST FAIRE!!

I've had all the camping gear back in the van for about 2 weeks now, but we'll be using it next weekend, and there's a chance we could get a bit damp... so I may be doing some laundry and airing the week after...  I get a bit of Faire next weekend, and I know it will really sharpen my anticipation for TRF, and getting to spend time with all of you!!!  I'm getting really excited now, also!
