33 days and 20 seconds!  Anyone else excited? ;D
It's always time for Chardonnay!

Maybe that's why I haven't been able to sleep yet.  Been trying for the last 12 hours or so... :)

Sleep, what's that!?  Between drum practice, group practice, various appointments, trying to fit in social time, and drinking time, I really don't get much of that (sleep that is, drinking is a priority!!)

I wish I had things like that to take up my time.. but alas all I have is the day job which I've been having a tough time focusing on to be very productive lately. So I'm lacking sleep and productivity -- must be time for some kind of a change.

My day job is just the means to fund everything else that I do.

likewise. Definitely not what I intend to do for the rest of my life. ;)

I don't know how many of you work at fest, or of those that do how many camp on site... but if you hadn't heard the quarry is seriously encroaching on the fence behind all the games in the north-east corner..

This photo was taken from basically right outside of horse gate pointing toward where the joust camp used to sit..

and this is the road that leads up to safety services, which used to be the middle of the employee parking area:

Long story short, half of the employee parking is a big hole in the ground now.

It occurred to me to post this here because while it's still 29 days until the front gate opens, it significantly sooner that the campground on site opens for all the performers (15 days!)

Word... day jobs suck. I like to say that Fest is what I do in "real life"....
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Thanks for posting the pics Indie.  Is the road that goes just outside of the fence from First Aide to C-Gate still there?  I assume that would be the way down to the campground.

Sitara

I e-mailed Jac about that last week.  He says you can still enter from 41, just beware of trucks and equipment if it is before 5 on a weekday.  The road to the campground starts roughly 100 feet from the first aid road.

I wonder where we are all supposed to park now, there wasn't enough space before all of this.  Gonna be a long trek to C gate for the people who have to sign in there, I am super glad the Jaycees don't have to this year!

Where do Jaycees sign in?
