Princess Alice

I've heard of at least three people who as of today (Saturday) quit (fired?) from the faire...apparently relating to Jim.  Since I've been ranting about not spreading rumors, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what ACTUALLY happened, and give me the real story :]

Worried about the people that were gone!
Real Men Eat Fish.

Saber

I haven't seen any concrete information, and the few people I called to find out what the story is, didn't know anything more than what was already asked

quite frankly, as Bear mentioned in another place, until someone has firm, verified, corroborated and otherwise accurate information... we shouldn't speculate

Aislynn

Jared said basically that Jim was yelling at him about not being able to do peace tying and hand out programs at the same time. Jared said he was only person and he is understaffed.  Jim flew off the handle, Jared said he didn't need this and quit, Kris and Kevin followed.

Second hand account but Jared called me as he left.

That is actually what I heard as well.  About the peace tying / program handing out thing.  From Kate, who heard it directly from Jared.  Poor guys =/

Ironically, Betty was yelling at the (probably not new, but I didn't recognize him) guy at the gate today about paying attention to peace tying.

Mischief Snicklebritches

Oh Irony...how do I love thee....let me count the ways....
buaahahahahah

Yes, I can confirm that what Tessa is saying is true...as I am married to Jared and have heard all details. He isn't upset or angry or ready to talk the festival down in anyway. He was actually glad to go. It was time. We plan on returning as patrons in the future with our children, but we are happy to not have the festival monopolize our summers anymore. We will greatly miss all of our friends and the camaraderie but we'll be around. :D
How do I know I haven't missed it?!...what if it WAS the chicken!
