Hi. was wondering if any of us Rennies who live near Bay City, could recommend
a decent motel / hotel in or around the Bay City, Mich. area.   I will be visiting the
part of the city near the ....{  :-[d ' oh!, geography error}..Veterans Memorial Bridge
a park along the Saginaw River  and could use any tips
you have.  doesn't have to  be in bay city, even, just within 20 mins of the city.
thanks in advance.  --Shannon

Thank you , readers, for reminding me about the diff. 'tween my trip to Port Huron
and the trip across the ....zilwaukee bridge...on way to Bay City.

Are you referring to Port Huron Mi.  ??

Bay City is home to 5 bridges (that I know of)
1. Independance
2. Liberty
3. Veterans Memorial
4. Lafayette
5. Zilwaukee

I'm aghast that I know that,,  what a nerd.   ;D

I live about 25 minutes from Bay City, but ya know, I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel there.  Or even know where to tell you to try.  But if you do a google map of Bay City, MI and then to the "search nearby" for hotels....it'll give you a map of what's in the area. But you probaly did that already, huh?  I think there is a mariott and a doubletree.  Hope that helps a little.

Ah my hometown...
Really the only place that is quite nice and right there is the Doubletree.  I don't know the rates, but it's quite nice...

It's really quite easy to google other hotels in the area.

What's going on in Vet's Park?
