Rum isn't my drink of choice.  But I keep hearing grand reviews on it and might just have to put it in the mix.

Pick up Wizard's First Rule. The book is more intense than the show.

That is always very true.  I have more time to read than watch tv.  I think I will take a trip to Barnes & Nobles today during lunch.  Thanks for the tip.

Not the books but finally an intense episode, Should have been a two parter to extend Richard's torture. And show how bad the Mord-Sith were.

I was kind of disappointed as well with the mord-sith episode.  In the book that piece is how Richard gets to Darken Rahl and could be considered part of how he defeats Rahl.  Also I was a bit confused by the part where Richard and Kahlen were on opposite sides of that door.

*Teach*

I was really looking forward to the mord-sith. They really let me down on this one I think.
They pretty much changed everything on them. They don't die from just a touch from a confessor now, she didn't "marry" Richard, Richard didn't turn the sword white and what was that bringing her back to life nonsense?
Also, there are more confessors than Kahlan? WTH?
I have to repeat the mantra once again... the series is not the book... the series is not the book... the series is not the book

*It's like drinking from a rum bottle and getting scotch. Not a bad thing, but not was was supposed to come out*

ok... seriously...
One of the best heartwarming parts of the books was Rachel being adopted by Chase
WTH!
I swear... I only watch this series to see what parts of the story will be changed next...
Chase takes in Rachel, trains her as a young warrior of badassness
now.. she is going to be raised by a cook.
sigh

*the writers need to have their rum rations cut*

I feel your pain Teach!

Too many confessors, Richard didn't get the Mord-Sith weapon, and he hasn't had any side effects from using the sword to kill people, ect, ect...

As far as bring her back to life, it is a Mord-Sith power, just didn't happen that way in the book.  ::)
Though she had to use it on Richard after he pissed her off. I think more than once, but can't remember for sure.

I'm still trying to learn just watch and enjoy. Just watch and enjoy.
