BURN THE BODICE!!  :o
Oh, wait, no..different subject.

As for puppies, the only ones I have seen out at faire, are the working dogs.
(See-eye dogs, and this one guy with a jazzy, I see him at pub sing all the time)
There was a gent who had a drey-dog that pulled along his parrot show for awhile.
What ever happened to him?

As for casually strolling the Faire with pups; nope.
It only takes one occurence..

Aye, only one occurrence and then someone would shut the place down.

Though I think it is really neat that other faires have managed to make it possible so that mans best friend can also attend. My parents dog Lacey is quite the people-dog and does great in public situations.

I think I have enough issue with just trying to make sure that I myself do not get dehydrated or fatigued, which happens really easily, I wouldn't want to risk Lacey getting too hot running around all day at faire.
Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

I would love for you all to attend one of the faires that do allow dogs to see how great a time it can be. Many vendors have water for the dogs, and everyone has fun. The festivals that I know do allow dogs are Minnesota, Michigan, Kansas City, Bay Area, N.C., Great Lakes, and Norman, OK. Either way, I can't wait to visit Scarborough again this year. Have FUN.

As much as I love me dogs they have no place at the faire.  Too much going on for them and even the best behaved sometimes develope issues.  So I say no dogs tae faire other than the working dogs that are needed.
There are many places where compromise is expected;
LOYALTY is not amongst them.

I am a huge dog lover, but not at faire.  It only takes on time to step in "it", and it would change my day!  lol  ;)

RPFS used to allow pets.  Unfortunately, a few irresponsible owners spoiled it for the rest.
