As excited as I am, I need some more time.
:-\ My body picked the worst absolute time for me to have to have surgery to get my gall bladder out and miss so much work.
Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

*nod nod* Had my surgery today and it went very well for all those wondering. Lots of sleep for me right now so I should be back to hell-raisin' shape come the time I return to school, just in time for the FoF Preview Event. Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

I knew I was jones-ing for my Faire fix, but I didn't know how bad it was until just a little while ago. My hubby and I had just gotten through running a bunch of errands, and I was tired. I sent Mark into the store for the last item needed, and I stayed in the car with the dog. As Mark was coming out of the store, we saw two women in garb (one even wearing a tail) going into the store. You just don't see that in Nocona, Texas. I bolted out of the car immediately; I HAD to find out what ren faire they were going to, just in case their was a new faire in the area I didn't know about!  I caught up with them and found out it wasn't a renaissance faire, but something called a "Rendezvous" they were attending, and it was just a few miles from here.  They were with a group that dressed in the time period of the American pioneers, and they were camping in authentic canvas tents, she said.  They had shows and vendors, and they invited me.  One of them was from near Waxahachie, and was familiar with Scarby. I explained that when I saw the garb, particularly the tail, I thought maybe there was a new Renaissance Faire in town. I invited them to Scarby, and they invited me to their Rendezvous.  Until I saw them, I didn't know just how bad my need for a Faire was getting!  I'm not the outgoing type who would normally chase down perfect strangers in a grocery store.

Can't wait till opening cannon!!!
