Someone please come and kidnapp me...where ever I may be...so I can make an R/F Photo for once! ;)

Yep, Celebration Pavilion is the aforementioned "little covered eating area just below the village kichen".  We are makiing it available for small groups of 10 to 35 for Birthday Parties, Bar Mitzvahs, small picnics, etc.

Nic, or any of the mods passing by, could you sticky this thread for me so it doesn't disappear...

so the Celebration Pavillion is up for offer...and I'm going to look at the map and then look at it at the Preview Event in a week and a half.

Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

A reniassance-themed bar mitzvah...erm...great, now I'm going to be thinking about how that would work...

Var Greyshadow

The problem with the Celebration Pavilion is that it's down near where the parade will be STARTING this year - not good for those of us who are in it.  Would be nice if we can find someplace nearer to the end of the parade (or near the Royal Guard tent and Scotty Cotty anyway).

Yes, Var, that was the problem last year. The meeting place was near the start of the parade with the time near the end of parade. I never could make it.

VIII

There is no "Scotty Cotty" anymore.  It is the "Village Armoury" now.

Okay...so its ending where it started last year, which is opposite of whats on the current festival map up on the website, correct?

Why doesn't everyone just congregate in the shade by the Friends of Faire booth in Pecan Grove then? That seems like an easy point, gives the marchers a chance to get something cool to drink and sit too. Plenty of shade.

Just throwing the idea out there.

Booo!  hissss! declear war!  down the English! I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

I say ole boy hardly cricket just because the Scots showed your English up last memorial day was no reason to take the Scots cottage.  Being a poor sport what?

Nope, just what it is named now.

And there is still no smoking around the place, for obvious reasons.  ;)

The Pecan Grove FOF after the Parade?
Sounds good.

Lilaney don't spoil me fun the best part of being Scottish is annoying the English ;D   Its all the English fault don't you know?  Heat cold wet dry snow rain mud dust its all the English fault they do it just to get even with the Scots because we are much more fun than they are and they can't stand that.   :P

The shady spot in the Pecan Grove after parade sounds fine, water and shade just what we want right after parade.

Yes, Sir Richard, but you did see just WHO you called a son of a Hamster, yes?

(Aside to VIII...I've a flogger at the ready, Majesty....)

Yes but we all know VIII is just a big softie now his sister Maggie is the one to worry about, she can be scary.  Have you seen her put the Lairds in their place makes a strongman pale.   She could drive a man sober a terrorable thing for a scotsman to be.

Capt Marge if there be a flogging I want you to attent to personally,  ::)  Oh lady Bear might have something to say about that mustn't upset she who must be obeyed.   :o

One thing about the meet and greet Stewart and Arnold show is right after the parade we might want to wait till 2 to have it so as not to interferr with there act.   That would also allow people time to get water.
