unbelievable discovery

there is another seasonal (now dry) creek bed...but, we walked along the creek bed, we found an amazing site: a circular pool (maybe 12-20' across) surrounded by a very cool sandstone formation...the pool filled with water and pouring into a creek that leads off the property--obviously fed by its own artesian spring--all of this hidden away in the middle of the woods.  another secret unveiled about this very magical place.

Me too ! I am so happy that it is even more magical than you believed. It is going to be wonderful! Mom and I are so very excited and want you to mark Chameleon Dreams down as a vendor. We sell ladies raiment's and accessories. Bring pictures with you on Saturday if you get a chance, I am working on a few new Fae costumes for some friends and I bet that lime stone pond would be of great inspiration, you just don't see as much beauty in nature when all you get are some trees choked by concrete.... I hope you can still make it out! We will be setting up around 4-5 but feel free to come whenever you want. The days have been high nineties to low hundreds but the evenings have been downright chilly so be prepared for anything... it is Texas after all

alyria, apologies. had every intention to make it last weekend, but my 8-5 job caused me to have to attend an all-day and nite fundraiser for a not for profit in town.  would love to hook up in september if in the state, or at least at TRF where i will be every weekend.

i am promised (keep your fingers crossed) that the website will be up no later than sept. 1st (yes, this year).

would love folk to begin getting excited about the prospects of being a part of the faire during the first year.

bulldozer work begins this weekend, at the earliest, or on sept 2nd at the latest.  should have most of the clearing done before TRF starts...and construction to begin on some of the structures shortly after that.

i believe with all my heart and soul that you will think it a quite magical place and will want to be a part of the experience.

I would try Insite mag in the Austin area, it is like Houstons  own Houston Press, seems like it is a good place to advertise, I know that TRF advertised there last year and I believe they paid for it in comp passes, cant beat that  price

i am elated today. it seems i may have the games vendor and one of the food vendors ligned up.  this is fantastic news, folk.  still would like two more food vendors, one especially for the vegan/vegetarian crowds (ok, maybe not CROWDs)...

i mean, this is fantastic news.

more ideas???

i am interested in a kids section.  dreamt about it most of the nite.  thinking of sandcastle area, toesack races...need other art ideas for kids outside.

and of course, need many more artisan vendors...as well as face painting, henna, hand in wax, hairbraiding, and the like.

  I am an artist vending at Serendipity Haven this weekend! My first venture. I make wizard wands, staffs, and wire wrapped crystals with gemstones,Pirate beads, Paint gourds and more!
