I'm grateful for every morning I wake up, look up and see the sky.

I love it when conflict leads to good things.    I'm grateful for the happy twist of fate that may result in one of my coworkers doing his job (rather than me doing it) after his accusation that I was screwing up.    One of the reasons I'm grateful for this is it paves the way for me to leave this job more easily when my new business takes hold. From my point of view it's great all the way around.

I was in a car accident on the way home from work today. I'm unsathed as was the other driver, but my wonderfol old trust worthy Toyota pick-up wasn't so lucky. She's going to the big scrap yard in the sky. So it started to make me think, as all bad things in life do. What am I grateful for.

I'm grateful to have a wonderful man (Toki) in my life who was abit shaken up, but glad he wasn't headed to the hospital or worse to see me.
I'm grateful for my mom who came and picked me up and had even just paid to have the old truck repaired (U-jpints were gone and she didn't want it sitting as I couldn't aforf to fix her).

I'm grateful I have a job... maynot after Wenesday, but I still have one and it may go longer.

I'm grateful to have a roof over my heat, with heat, and enough food to get me buy if need be.

I'm grateful for all the wonderful Faire friends I have made here and at faire, You are all wonderful people.

I'm grateful I live in America even though sometimes I joke about moving to New Zealand (Who wouldn't want t live there)

And most of all I am grateful my kids talked to me tonight. One of which refused to talk to me for a long time. I guess it takes the fact that you could have lost someone in your life to wake up... even for just a moment.

Thank heavens for a local vet who has the love, compassion and understanding in her heart to know that rats are not vermin when domesticated, but loving and appreciated members of the family...and she keeps her prices affordable so that we can get them the care they need.

Thank heavens that the medicines seem to be working for our poor little rats who have a nasty case of pneumonia.

Thank heavens that I am no longer on 24-hour vet-watch for them, so that I can get some sleep.
