this weekend, i had several encounters that affirm this wonderful spirit abounding within the creation of sherwood that i wanted to comment on...

paul spent countless hours climbing high into trees to start the handing of the swings (these are not rides, but simple wooden benches suspended by sisal rope) throughout the woods.

tom godfrey handed me this beautiful 3' diameter carved logo of sherwood as a gift

kevin and members of the dragons of the round spent time working on the wishing well to benefit make a wish foundation (everyone will be quite touched by the entire story surrounding kevin and his wife's initial desire to take on this task)

george stewart who is working as a contractor to build several structures with the faire made a quite noble gesture to assure the structures he was working on for the faire were enduring...one that he could have let slide, but instead, at his own cost, did what was right and good and atested to his character a great deal.

so much good karma abounding.
