It happened this morning when we took both boys out for brunch, the oldest was visiting from Boston, so we took them out before he left to drive back to the airport.

I was having Dinner at the Red Lion Inn in Avebury, England. I noticed the drapes were a deep red velour with gold (Not Yellow, NOT Tan, GOLD) embroidery.  THIS was the material I have been looking for for years for a Great Coat or Skirted Doublet!

I quietly told my friend, " You create a distraction, I gonna grab 2 or 3 of these drapes!"

He looked at me so seriously, and said, "Don't... you... dare!"

He knew I REALLY wanted them!
