Don't know if this one has been posted but here goes:

You never had any interest in sewing or crafting before, but now all you can think about is the garb pieces you want to make.

Well I was kinda interested in it.  Just didnt do much until the idea of making garb and such came into the picture.
May the stars always shine upon you and yours.

My granddaughter called and asked if she could pick up her princess gown, because she wanted it for a school project. :) She came over and said it was for "reading theater." She is going to be the princess (of course) since she was the only one that had the garb. So, she is best suited for the part. ;D I, of course, thought nothing of it, thinking it was a normal thing to do.

You plan on having a faire birthday for all family and friends that have a birthday that falls anywhere close to the date your home faire is in full swing.  Best friend turns 30 in Nov., half way through TRF so she's have a faire weekend!

I thought everyone had princess garb in their closet!? ???

And prince, peasant, wench, noble, bard, huntsman, troll, fairie, archer, tavern keep, merchant, belly dancer, juggler, pirate, swordsman, ........

If you incorporate renfaire in school projects...

In high school I made an entire suit of armor out of cardboard for an art project.  Boyfriend at the time even wore it for the demo!
Then I built a guillotine and dressed the entire class up for a beheading (history class). ;D

Your family and friends want you to have a 30th anniversary party, and you tell them the only way you will agree is if it's held at faire and everyone comes garbed.

We shall see what happens.

My best friend and I each are getting a weekend at CRF. Only my birthday is way better. I get Halloween.

Your daughter has a slumber party and when the girls want to play dress up, you have enough garb for everybody. Everything from princess to gypsy to fairy to peasant. They loved having parasols and fans and fairy crowns. Have to hook 'em while they're young ;D

Its funny the last time I saw my neice she informed me that she wanted a new princess dress, green this time not purple like the last one 8)

I had made her one for her first trip to Faire and a neat knights tunic for her brother..

I think I created a monster lol

Every time you sit at the sewing machine your children ask "Mommy are you making my garb now?"  And have to explain to them that they will get new garb before faire starts and not to worry.

You are getting ready to go out of state for 2 days at a faire.  You pack everything in the biggest, gi-gunda-est suitcase you own, and when you look at what's in there, the only mundane clothes you brought is clean underwear.  The rest of everything is garb and shoes/boots.  Plus the back seat of the car where you put everything that can't be folded/crushed/fit into the suitcase.    ;D

You know you're a true rennie if...

You buy a new pair of boots for the purpose of Ren Fest, and, whilst it being off season for your region, when they arrive, you decide you must go to the corner store and buy new razors...and break in your boots...in garb...

And then the next day, you decide that 'tis about time you made a payment at the bank (that you work at none the less) also garbed, to continue braking in said new boots.

No joke. My boyfriend, Davens, did this...His mom was thrilled to wake up and find him walking around in garb...

Yessir. They be pirate boots! That's why he's wearing them almost anywhere he can...

These  be pyrate boots, right, love?    He'll want them well broke in for JLD...
