Circa Paleo not at TRF

did i read that correctly?  there is no Circa Paleo at TRF this year?  I received an email from Jenny and TRF is not on their 2011 Calendar!  How sad.  It won't be faire if I don't hear The Kiss on that violin!

The calender ends before TRF starts, Circa Paleo is on the TRF schedule.

The folks at TRF might seem a little screwed up this season with the family days etc..., but they are not that far gone yet.

I'm pretty sure that his lordship saw something from Jenny that they would definitely be there, so I wouldn't sell my tickets.

One thing to remember, tho, it's not always the faire's fault if an act doesn't come back. Since the acts set their own circuit, sometimes they find a better deal for their time. As much as an act may love TRF/Scarby/etc. sometimes it just comes down to cold, hard business.

I'm glad to hear that Circa Paleo will be back ... they are awesome!  As of today, neither the TRF nor Circa Paleo's web sites reflect this, so the confusion is understandable.  Gotta agree with Mr. Hyde that Wolgemut was a really cool group and I really enjoyed their performances.

I agree on Wolgemut -- good music, good performance, good people. Had a chat with their leader about bagpipes after one of their performances at the Florida Renaissance Festival in January. At the time they were looking for a new piper. Apparently they got they resolved, as their Facebook page shows that they are touring.
