How defendable is your faire??

Yea I get that from folks too of course most all ready think I'm a bit off what with wearing a kilt going to renfaires, studying swordfighting and other martial arts, and that natgeo show hasn't helped any.   Of coures I'm still trying to figure out when doing what was common and normal for our parents and grandparents aka canning food,  keeping a couple of months of food in the storage, having back up lighting, and heat etc starting meaning you are a bit of instead of normal.  I guess about the same time saving and waiting till you could afford something before buying it went out of fashion.  Better get off my soap box before I get in trouble.

I'm with you SirRichardBear,  I really do want to start canning foods and and start making my own jelly.  I still to wash my pastic baggies and foil and reuse them, if my hubby doesn't throw them out, picked up that from my grandmother.
