  I am soooo using that applique idea for my next coat... and that Camicia is to die for.  So delicate.

Hancock has a sale on a dark gold Dupioni silk for $7.00 yd.  I got 2 yards of it to make into my forepart.


  The bodice is done now, except for the lacing holes...this will be side lacing in the back.  I decided on shoulder wings to match Hubby's doublet.   I think I am going to cheat a little and place hooks and eyes on the straps in front, once I try it on for the final fitting...The dummy is wearing the McMasters Partlet I made last year topped by one of the Tall Toad hats I bought last week, but I will be wearing the bodice over the partlet blouse I had Lady K make me last year..

Here is the coat so far. I have  yet to get the lining put in, tack down the inside pleats, open the button holes on the pocket flaps, then get the buttons on. I am done for the day.

Rowen MacD  we think alike.  I have 6 or 7 yard of that same Fleur de lis fabric to make an outfit for Merlin's special occasion.  Though yours is absolutely beautiful.

Lady Kathleen.  Again I am in awe.  I  love the back of that coat and the swing .  It's going to move so beautifully when they are working.  Thank you for taking the Quandary from me and doing such a wonderful job.
