I am a high school biology teacher taking a sabatacle as an operations clerk for Schwan's Food Distribution. Operations clerk translates to freezer monkey. I work in a twenty below zero freezer all night pulling orders to load delivery trucks. I may just stick with it for a while.....unless it gets boring. ;)

I'm the office manager for a direct mail company (NO!  I can't take your name off the list.)  Being the only full time employee I do everything from maintain the network to scrub the toilet.  Oh, and I walk Seamus, the bosses black lab, every afternoon when I take my smoke break.  *chuckle*

As for who writes/signs my checks, I work as a Production Artist in the pre-press division of a major pre-press and printing company based out of Illinois.  But, stay with me here, I provide my services for one of our customers, a major consumer electronics retailer, HQ'd in Fort Worth, TX (where I both live and work).

Lumpy

I am a self employed game designer that has been in business since 1989. I even have a few faire related products at IcePack Games. If you are interested we are redesigning the site now but the old version still works http://IcePackGames.com

I'm unofficially unemployed at the moment. Technically, I'm an automotive mechanic, but have been put on 'indeffinite on-call status' due to the tanking economy, and bosses who aren't quite keeping up with the learning curve of running a shop.

So now I'm a SAHD, or stay at home dad, taking care of my 16 month old daughter.

Looking for basic crap job, part time, to keep up with a car paymnt, and get my rear-end back to school to get a real job I might actually enjoy.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.

I'm the business analyst for the payroll office at the City of Phoenix. Just three weeks ago we completed a reimplementation of our HR/Payroll system that was three grueling years in the making - and we did NOT end up on the front page of the newspaper! (so there, ASU!  :P) I'll be eligible to retire in only 17 months and I just may do so!

Now into property management.

Most unusual?  I worked at Heritage Village, historical outdoor village museum in Largo Florida showing an old Victorian home called the Seven Gables, an old log cabin that is the oldest surviving structure in the county and a turn-of-the-century cottage.

Gotta love the school field trips... ;D
Show me your tan lines..and I'll show you mine!

Ahhh, work.  I used to have a really interesting job.   In the Air Force I was a nuclear weapons safety instructor.  I could tell you more about it but then I'd have to...  well, you know the rest.     Now, I'm a server at the Olive Garden.  Not as much money, but a heck of a lot tastier.   ;)
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

I hear ya! Once upon a time I had a Top Secret Security Clearance.  Some of what I did was pretty cool, but you'd be suprised how many lunch invites and golf outings get coded Top Secret just so they'll get to whomever quicker  ;)

Quiet One

Right now, an on-site manager for an employment agency, taking care of all of one company's temporary employment needs.
I'd rather go back to a shipping manager position.
Maybe someday ..... I'll find the money to go back to school and finish my accounting degree.
